The Pokémon Company International has unveiled a thrilling expansion for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, titled 'Mega Dimension DLC'. This DLC promises to take players on a journey like no other, as they explore the enigmatic Hyperspace Lumiose and encounter powerful Mega-Evolved Pokémon.
A New Dimension Unveiled
In this expansion, players will find themselves in a distorted version of Lumiose City, known as Hyperspace Lumiose. Here, they will be guided by the donut chef, Ansha, and her Mythical Pokémon companion, Hoopa. As they venture through this mysterious dimension, they will discover Mega-Evolved Pokémon and other rare Pokémon, some of which can surpass the usual limit of Lv. 100 with hyperspace levels.
Hoopa's powers are unlocked when it consumes one of Ansha's magical donuts, transforming spatial distortions into portals to hyperspace. Ansha's culinary creations grant various effects, such as boosting Pokémon power, and more potent Hyperspace Berries are available for tackling high-level Pokémon.
New Allies and Mega-Evolved Pokémon
Players will be joined by Korrina, a successor to a line of Mega Evolution experts, who is determined to encounter every Mega-Evolved Pokémon. Together with Team MZ, they will explore Hyperspace Lumiose, unravel its secrets, and investigate the strange occurrences in Lumiose City.
Two new Mega-Evolved Pokémon will make their debut in this DLC: Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur.
Mega Chimecho's Mega Evolution is a sight to behold. Six smaller copies of itself appear and flutter endlessly, even without wind. When Chimecho cries, the echoes of its copies overlap, creating a powerful sound-wave attack. Mega Baxcalibur, on the other hand, becomes even more formidable, generating more ice energy and wielding a larger, more powerful back blade.
An Extra Side Mission for Diancie
Starting November 6, players can embark on an extra side mission titled 'Shine Bright like a Gemstone' to obtain the Mythical Pokémon Diancie. By claiming a Diancite Stone through the Mystery Gift feature in the base game, players can unlock this opportunity. Once the Diancite Stone is claimed, players can visit the Looker Bureau, where Mimi the Espurr awaits, setting the stage for an exciting side quest.
Completing this mission allows players to add Diancie to their team and Mega Evolve it into Mega Diancie, revealing its radiant form in battle. This DLC offers an exciting blend of exploration, discovery, and powerful Pokémon encounters, leaving players eager to delve deeper into the world of Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
