This year, we're introducing an innovative round-robin tournament format for the All-Star Game. Imagine two formidable U.S. player teams going head-to-head against one formidable World team. Each squad will boast a minimum of eight players, and they'll battle it out across four intense 12-minute games. The thrilling matchups will unfold like this: Team A will clash with Team B in the opening game. The victor of that contest will then advance to face Team C. Meanwhile, the team that suffered the initial defeat will take on Team C in the game that precedes the championship. Ultimately, the two teams with the top-ranked records will then go head-to-head in the grand finale to determine the ultimate champion.
But here's where the excitement truly kicked off! All-Star Weekend officially tipped off on Friday with the much-anticipated celebrity game held at the iconic Kia Forum in Inglewood. Following that, the future stars of the NBA will take center stage at the Intuit Dome for the Rising Stars event. To cap off the night, the Kia Forum will host the captivating HBCU Classic, featuring an exciting matchup between the men's basketball teams from Hampton and North Carolina A&T.
