A following vehicle failed to reduce speed, causing a collision that sent the Blazer into oncoming traffic. Julia, her mother, and mother-in-law were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, including bruises, cuts, and a broken collarbone. The driver of the other vehicle, Randall Scott Goodman Jr., faced charges for failure to reduce speed, registration violation, and inspection violation. Despite the accident, Suarez's family is fortunate to have sustained only minor injuries. Meanwhile, Suarez himself is set to start the Cup race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 17th place on Sunday.
